So you know that Night of Adventure talk we did to 950 people in London? You can now watch it online!
The wonderful people at Hope & Homes For Children filmed the whole thing and cut it into a video for us to share.

When I decided to travel solo, it never crossed my mind that I shouldn’t travel because I’m a woman but as I started to research travelling solo, many people made me feel like this should be a concern.

This week we continued to chill in Miami and then started heading north to the Carolinas on the final leg of our journey.
I’d like to say that we spent our Miami time in the sun but the storms confined us to our apartment, blitzing our way through the Game of Thrones series. Finally, on our last day in Miami, the sun came out. And we both burned ourselves silly 😦

This week began with frustrating hitchhiking but ended in a beautiful apartment in Miami for Sarah’s BIRTHDAY!

In our 20 weeks travelling America, we covered all 48 mainland states, 39 cities and drove well over 13,650 miles.
That’s Lands End to John O’Groats 16 times, for all the UK residents out there. 116 and a half times round the M25, but with decidedly better views.

There’s not a huge amount of people to thank this week, but the people we are thanking made a huge impact on our trip. (Yes, even Mitch the bartender!)
When you’re on the road for 20 weeks, constantly thinking about where you’re going to sleep and how you’re going to get there and what you’re going to eat and how many people you’ll meet on the way, it’s nice to take a few days to chill out sometimes. That’s exactly what Rand and Jonathan allowed us to do in Flagstaff, and it was only at the end of Week 12 we actually managed to move on to our next destination…Albuquerque.
